Washing and waiting

Before going on a trip, even if it is a trip during a trip, laundry is to be done. So off we went to the laundromat. Since it was a really hot day already, the inside of the laundromat was a complete sauna, except that the cold dunking pool was missing. Doing laundry is so mundane and boring, one would think it does not warrant a blog entry at all, but I think it is just as much part of the traveling as the exciting history we experience and the magnificent buildings we see.

  1. Hey Barb

My sister and I are sitting here in New Zealand totally stunned at your beautiful photos you have taken in your travels. I hope you are having as much fun as I have been having spending time with family and friends. Denise would love some copies of some of your photos, and has said like many people that you take really gorgeous photos, but I'm not techy enough to know how to do it, so you can let me know when you get back to the US if that is okay with you.
Winter is not too bad here for us some good days some not so good. We went to see glow worms and kiwis and went to the family farm the kids had a blast. Cant believe how fast time is flying.
    Keep on blogging!

  2. Of course she can have some photos, we do it all when we both return and have a coffee to tell each other stories of our trips. Hope you are having a fantastic kiwi-olicious time :)
